Do some Planning
Your retirement plan has 'What if' capabilities

Switching from saving to spending
As retirement approaches (maybe it’s already here!) you have to make the switch from SAVING for retirement to SPENDING those savings. This will feel VERY strange if you have been a diligent saver, but knowing you have a good plan will help you with the transition.

Guess what? Withdrawing the money while making it last a lifetime is MUCH MORE DIFFICULT than accumulating it. Why? First, you have to tread a fine line between:

Risk #1 Overspending your savings, running out of money and being destitute, and
Risk #2 Unnecessarily restricting your retirement income because you are deathly afraid of Risk #1.

Second, you have to handle the inflation rate changing, interest rates changing, the market going up or down, your expenses fluctuating, and many other variables. Without a plan, a panic move at the wrong time could be very costly. This can be a constant source of worry. Don't let this happen to you! Seek advice and get a good plan.

Retirement Income Planning
We can help plot a steady course that maximizes the income from your available resources. The first step is to decide when to take Social Security benefits - a major decision with important financial consequences. The next step is to minimize taxes on any withdrawals from savings accounts. The third step is consider if insurance products are needed to protect against any of the unknowns faced by retirees.

We use up-to-the-minute research and techniques in our planning, not the old favorite 'Rules of Thumb'.
