How much have you thought about retirement? A lot, some, a little, or hardly at all?
Less than a one-third of of early Boomers have ever tried to figure out how much they needed to save for retirement, and the number that actually succeeded in developing a saving plan is even smaller (18%). Over a quarter report that they have not thought about retirement at all.
Yet merely thinking about retirement can produce increased wealth. Studies show people who plan for retirement enter their golden years with higher wealth levels. Financial literacy promotes planning, and planning increases wealth.
